Safety Norm: UNI EN 14450:2005 certified by ISTITUTO GIORDANO s.p.a. Secure storage units - Requirements, classification and methods of test for resistance to burglary - Secure safe cabinets - certification S2.

•Thickness of armoured plate is 3 mm. (home armoured doors are usually only 1 or 2 mm thick)
•  3 to 6 security locks (depending on model, protected by drill-proof manganese plate)
• Single piece steel door hinges.
• Total weight of display unit and storage base is 300 to 500 kg (approximate weight, varies according to model)
• 6 fittings for bolting to wall and floor.

Although nothing is 100% full proof against burglary, guarantee against theft with Blind Expo comes very close. Moreover, it has been shown that those who have installed it has registered no attempts at tampering with it.
The unit is very difficult to remove and be broken into. Attempts to open it with fire will render the contents useless.
The lengthy time needed to open it and the ensuing noise created dissuades potential burglars who choose to go elsewhere.
